“SPCA City Orienteering Charity Race” aims at promoting and providing a pet-friendly environment in our society. Participants not only act as our ambassadors for promoting the concept of caring, they can also make a donation to the SPCA(HK) to support the medical, rehabilitation service and basic needs of our homeless animals as well as to enhance the animal welfare work.

This Contest is “score-oriented” with time-limit, which requires both intelligence and physical fitness. On the Event day, participants will receive a map from the Organiser before the Contest starts. Participants can decide their routes based on the checkpoints on the Contest map. An electronic chip and wristband will be given to each team for recording the time. During the Contest, each team should perform together at all time. Upon arrival of every checkpoint, please tap in and make sure that the record is successfully completed before leaving. Some special tasks are required at designated checkpoints. Participating team should follow the instructions from our staff and check-out after the completion of the special task. The Contest lasts for two hours (Official time). All participants should return in 2 hours and return their electronic clip. The Organiser will then calculate the score for each team to find out the winners. If there is a tie, the team with the shorter finishing time will be the winner.
